Henderson State University Wind Ensemble Concert
The Henderson State University Wind Ensemble will present, "We Shall Overcome: The Perseverance of the Reddie Spirit,” as its first performance of the academic year on Sunday, Oct. 6 at 4 p.m. The featured work on the program is Mark Camphouse’s A Movement for Rosa, which depicts the life and contributions of civil rights heroine Rosa Parks. The program will also include a celebration of the life of Distinguished Alumna Mary Jo Mann ’62 and recognition of her service to Henderson State and her long-standing relationship with the HSU Band.
