DESCRIPTION:The Percy and Donna Malone Child Safety Center invites walkers and runners of all ages\, beginner level and experienced alike\, to participate in a charity 5K/10K race to support children on their journey to healing after abuse and trauma. Run our certified 5K or 10K race routes through charming downtown Arkadelphia\, Arkansas to cross the finish line amid the fanfare of live music from local bands.\n\nTo get you prepared for race day\, partnering local business The Nutrition Den invites all registered participants to join in their 9-week 5K training\, free of charge. Every Tuesday evening and Saturday morning beginning September 12 and leading up to the race you can learn the basics to improve your race form and build endurance. \n\nNot a runner or walker? That's ok\, too! We are inviting local organizations\, businesses\, and churches to form their own teams that will race to raise sponsorship dollars for our children. Encourage your friends and colleagues on their health goals while supporting the youngest members of our world. You can financially sponsor a registered individual or team by contributing to their campaign to support healing. We will track fundraisers in our leadership boards weekly\, so you can move your favorite team forward while helping a great cause. \n\nIndividual race registration fees are:\n$15 student (K12 or university with ID)\n$25 regular early registration\n$30 day-of-race registration\n\nBecause we know today's children will be leading us in the future\, let's "Run the World" to support them today!
