LifeGuard, CPR, First-Aid Training Course
I will be hosting a three day training course that will cover all the necessary skills and techniques to become a certified Red Cross LifeGuard. This course will go over techniques to save possible victims in and around bodies of water. We will learn CPR, First-Aid, and AED skills that correlate to the necessary skills of a LifeGuard. I am the manager for the city of Arkadelphia's Aquatic Park for this summer, and i'm looking to train possible candidates for employment at our seasonal facility. This course has the built in flexibility to allow students to come for part of the class if they wish to recieve only their CPR, First-Aid, and AED training that would allow that student to be employed as a Jr.Guard for the city of Arkadelphia. Other students who attend the full three day class will have all the credentials to be a Red Cross certified LifeGuard. No prior lifeguarding experience is necessary to participate in the class, however to be qualified to do the in-water exercises you must be physically fit enough to do the strenuous skills in the water. A pre-test will be administered on the first day of class to determine if your physical abilities in the pool qualify you to continue the rest of the class. the full three day class will be $250.00. That will include the electronic copy of your certificate. The partial class for CPR,First-Aid,and Aed will be held on the second day of class(Tuesday,22nd of March) and the price for it will be $125.00. That will include the electronic copy of your certificate.
