New Moon Island Stargazing

Tonight marks a new moon, and that means it will be dark, very dark – perfect for stargazing! Set out on a scenic cruise to enjoy the beauty of DeGray Lake at sunset. As the light fades, we will make our way to a remote island and disembark for some star gazing on the beach. Lie back and take in the celestial beauty overhead, far from city lights and pollution. Please dress appropriately for the weather – it will get cooler after sunset. Feel free to bring your own beach towel or camp chair. Seating is limited—reservations can be made beginning noon the day before the cruise, at the marina, (501) 865-5841. A minimum of six passengers must be registered one hour prior to departure.
