Sorority plans 2^nd annual charity basketball game to support surrounding county students attending college

The Chi Nu Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. has announced plans for a charity basketball game.

The Shooting for Scholarships Charity Basketball Game will be held Saturday, April 1, at 3:00 p.m. at the Arkadelphia High School Gymnasium.

Committee Chairperson, Ashlee Dixon states, the proceeds from this event will benefit scholarships to be given to students from Clark, Hot Spring and Garland counties who will be attending college. There will be door prizes, a concession stand, music, a "stroll off" and much, much more.

"This event is a community wide event and everyone is encourage to tell a few friends, bring a few friends and to anticipate having a great time," said Dixon.

Admission is free for children 4 and under, ages 5 to 12 admission is $3 and ages 13 and up admission is $5. Tickets can be purchased prior to the day of this event from any member of the Chi Nu Omega chapter or by contacting Ashlee Dixon at 870-230-5386 or email CHINUOMEGA1908@gmail.com.
